Comments: I fused the two styles. I focused on the realistic color skull and used traditional elements to accent the tattoo. It was done in one session on a client who i now consider a friend. She told me to do whatever I wanted to with the skull, and this is what she got. I used a lot of muted colors and only a few brighter pigments at key points. She traveled to my shop , Epoch Tattoo in Houston, Texas , from Arkansas I believe. It was a fun piece and I want to do more of these.

This tattoo here is mine! It healed perfectly and it recently won Best Medium Color at the 2008 Texas Tattoo Round-Up. Nate Beavers is basically a ninja and an awesome guy.

This is amazing. I love the combination of realistic and traditional elements. It's one of those tattoos that I wish was mine! I have two of Nate's tattoos and he's a great guy!! You were too good for Omaha, Nate.

Amazing work. I am looking for somewhat the same style of art work done on myself. GREAT WORK!
